Concept and Features:
Out with the old, in with the new! With their two young boys grown up but not moved out, it was time for this family to bulldoze their life long brick and mortar and sit back and watch while the home of their dreams rose from the ground.
When areas are so dark, light will forever be your best friend. Natural light can often be hard to come by and large residential homes squished in tightly with their numbers. Artificial light has been brought in here with stunning, oversized pendant lights, sneaky character filled smaller pendant lights, back lit mirrors and a whole heap of LED strip lights strategically placed to not only brighten the space but give the space its own sense of regality and opulence.
Adjusting the ground floor layout ever so slightly allowed for the staircase void to be opened up immensely and a glazed courtyard to be brought in as well adding more natural light and a sense of bringing the outdoors in.
